The heat wave that hit Utah took a toll on my rental AC unit. I called the company that sold the HVAC system to me and they said they couldn't get to me for a couple of weeks but they could recharge the refrigerant. Concerned about my tenants I decided to recharge it. Four days later the refrigerant was gone. The company came out again but this time put in a dye and sealant so that they could identify the leak. Two days later the refrigerant was gone, however, there was no sign of a leak. They offered to sell me a new HVAC system for $8,000. I decided to find someone else. I tried four other companies but either the price was unreasonable or they could not do rooftop units. My daughter learned of Paul Brothers from a customer so I decided to give them a try. They came out two days later and after some real detective work found the leak. The repair was done the next day and the AC was back running. After they left I learned of a whistling noise that I was concerned about. They asked me to record the sound and send it to them. I did and they came back out the next day to check on the repair work and investigate the noise. It turned out to be an airflow that was restricted because of a dirty filter. A new filter solved the whistle. HVAC service in the future will only be handled by Paul Brothers. I am recommending them to the HOA of my rental, to all my family and friends, and anyone else that wants quality, honest, & great services.

I just bought a house over the summer and after getting home from a small family vacation my house was freezing. Found out the heater was shot and needed to be replaced after getting two opinions. I priced several companies and Paul Brothers not only was the most affordable, but they were also the only company that installed on the weekend. To make them even better we had a small issue on a Sunday and they were there within an hour to take care of it at no charge. Honest company!!! True story, I had another company come out last month when my AC didn’t turn on. After some time the tech said my AC was burned out and I needed a complete replacement at a cost of $4,500. "Happy i found them!"

I found these guys by chance and am SO happy I did. Derrick came out on a Sunday (within less than an hour, I think), to help me with my furnace that was running but not blowing heat - no crazy weekend or "after hours" charges to do so! He helped me with my furnace that was locked out, and then taught me a few things I can do myself even for when any issues arise and gave me some tips for where to find some better filters for my needs as well. Super nice person. Really kind and helpful. I will definitely use them again in the future!

We rent a house and a company the property management company uses is Paul Brothers, Derrick has been out to our house before, and gave the owners a bid to replace some things, they never got the work done. But guess who was at my house last night, getting the ac fixed on a unit they didn't get the bid for? Yes, Derrick was there to get everything handled. We had a great cool night last night and many more to come. If they would have got the bid, I am sure Derrick would not have to make a service call last night because it would have been done right the first time, as the old saying goes. I have been a homeowner for almost 20 years and have dealt with many cooling and heating companies in three different states, but none is more professional and effective than Paul Brothers. Today they came to check on the AC which wasn’t cooling the house. Another company had already done service on the system two months ago, but the technician that came today took the time to really find the problem and fix it properly. They won’t push you into having an expensive fix or replacement. The house today feels like another house. What a difference! From now on I won’t use another company except Paul Brothers.

I hired the Paul Brothers to come to give a second opinion after a shady visit I had with another company. Long story short, I was told I needed two new heat exchangers ($2,800), and that my igniter was broken. Because the heat exchangers were "bad" the "service" tech would not replace the igniter and my house was without heat after they left. Scott was punctual, and helpful, gave me a visual inspection of everything the other company had lied to me about, and fixed my furnace. He spent 45 minutes making sure that everything was working, no fuses were broken, and making general improvements to my old furnace. The heat exchangers were NOT bad, and the igniter still works FINE. Scott found the small fuse problem and fixed it. I will never go anywhere else again for HVAC needs. These guys are the honest, down-to-earth, local business that you're looking for. CALL THEM!
